Castel Monastero

From Florence International Airport:

• Once you leave the airport, follow directions to the highway A1 in the direction of Rome
• From the highway, take the Firenze-Certosa (pay toll) - Please be careful, the sign is not well positioned due to road works
• At the round-about immediately after the toll station, take the first exit on the right onto RACCORDO AUTOSTRADALE SIENA-FIRENZE and head towards Siena/Grosseto – approx. 34 miles
• Once you reach Siena, stay on the Superstrada and follow directions to Arezzo/Grosseto and then merge onto E78 via the ramp to AREZZO/PERUGIA/A1/ROMA – approx. 10 miles
• Take the exit COLONNA DEL GRILLO (the one after Castelnuovo Beradenga)
• After the ramp, take rights to BUCINE approx. 0.3 miles, turn left in the direction of AMBRA/BUCINE (on the left you will find a restaurant/hotel called Il Bivacco) – proceed for approx. 1.8 miles
• On the right you will find a white sign indicating Castel Monastero – immediately after turn left at the sign “Monastero d’Ombrone”
• Drive up hill – you have arrived.
