As a chef, Daniel Bruce has developed a reputation for having a delicate hand when creating seafood dishes; he finds inventive ways to enhance not overpower the flavors of the fish. The menu at the Rowes Wharf Sea Grille changes often and reflect seasonal selections. With the skill and imagination he brings to all culinary projects, Chef Bruce will make it a priority to incorporate under-utilized species, thus, preserving the ocean’s endangered species and offering diners inventive, new dishes. The cuisine will be simply prepared in a minimal style.

The Rowes Wharf Sea Grille is open three meals a day, seven days a week. The restaurant also offers tea service. Breakfast and lunch serves as opportunities to maintain some of the traditional elements that regular diners of Intrigue Café have come to enjoy over the years, some reinterpreted with a new twist.

Design:

The design of the restaurant thematically reflects the menu: contemporary and minimalist with accents that celebrate the sea. Diners might feel like they are onboard a sleek modern yacht. Framed photographs line the walls that depict artful perspectives of sky, sea and sails shot from a sailboat. The restaurant will be a light, airy space, naturally lit through dramatic oversized windows looking out to the harbor. The floors are a simple hardwood covered by three large area rugs, and the fabrics adorning the furniture are rich blues and aquamarines in patterns that are ocean inspired. The sconces look like undulating waves. The uniforms worn by the restaurant staff incorporate a rich ocean blue. The menus are made from a fabric that catches the light and shimmers like sunlight cast on the harbor in the summertime.
