Hotel Imperial was originally built 1863 as the Vienna residence of the Prince of Württemberg. The stately palace on the magnificent Ring Boulevard was transformed into the Hotel Imperial 1873 featuring 138 guest rooms, including over 59 Suites. It goes without saying that all guest rooms provide uncompromising standards, tasteful furnishings, marble bathrooms and walls cocooned in silk. Precious antiques conjure up the atmosphere of nineteenth-century Vienna. The Hotel Imperial was and still is the place to be for personalities and celebrities of the arts and politics. The Palais has been carefully restored and preserved in its original form.

The guest history, dating back some 50 years, guarantees that every guest is treated like a personal friend with the team fulfilling wishes even before they are expressed.

The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts introduces a new era of style in Hotel Imperial Vienna´s restaurant, bar and coffehouse. Elegant and Guide Michelin-awarded restaurant OPUS, the exceptional Imperial Bar and coffee house Café Imperial Vienna were renovated by internationally renowned interior designer Alexander Kravetz, whose designs reflect the imperial grandeur of the legendary Hotel Imperial while at the same time artfully leading it into a contemporary and luxurious future.
