The Helvetia & Bristol reopened its doors in Florence after having completed an extraordinary expansion and renovation which, thanks to the vision of designer Anouska Hempel and the invaluable contributions of Florence’s master craftsmen, have enriched the hotel’s already charming personality, putting a fresh face on luxury Florentine hospitality. The hotel now features 89 rooms of which 57 are suites and two distinct room design styles to choose from, a classic traditional and a classic contemporary. Two styles that merge harmoniously to express the true soul of the city and create an authentic "sense of place", and intimate connection with the unique history and culture of Florence.

Deluxe Helvetia

The Deluxe Helvetia rooms in traditional style have either a double bed or twin beds and a marble bathroom, classic Italian furniture, high speed internet access, air conditioning, flat screen TV, and a safe for your valuables. Some of the rooms have a small balcony with views over the centre of the city, while others look onto the inner courtyard and some have lovely views of Piazza Strozzi.

Junior Suite Helvetia

Junior Suite Helvetia in traditional style with a King-size bed or two separate beds, and a small sitting area. Luxurious period furniture, marble bathroom. They are equipped with a flat screen TV, internet connection, a safe for your valuables and air conditioning, marble bathroom with a jacuzzi. Some of the suites look out over the streets of the heart of Florence, others boast total peace and quiet.

Junior Suite View Helvetia

The Junior Suite View Helvetia in traditional style with large sitting area, king or two single beds, Marble bathroom, all Junior Suite View have view over Palazzo Strozzi. Luxurious antique furniture. WIFI.

The Panoramic Suite Helvetia in traditional style is on the 5th floor. The design combine classic elegance and contemporary comfort with a stunning view over the duomo from the large windows and Florentine skyline. Two Marble bathrooms.

Deluxe Bristol

The Deluxe Bristol rooms in contemporary style feature one king size bed, a marble bathroom, hand made Italian furniture, high speed internet access, air conditioning, flat screen TV, and a safe for your valuables.

Junior Suite Bristol

The Junior Suite Bristol in contemporary style with a King-size bed and a small sitting area. Luxurious hand made furniture, marble bathroom. Suite Bristol

The Suite Bristol in contemporary style is furnished with unique hand made pieces, with a sitting room with exquisite velvet sofas and a bedroom with a king size bed and a canopy crafted by Florentine artisans.

Presidential Suite Bristol

The Presidential Suite Bristol in contemporary style feature a large living room with exquisite velvet sofas, marble finishes and a large fireplace. The magnificent four-post beds have been fashioned in antique-finish mirror panelling or wrought iron by skilled Italian craftsmen, and the fabrics and curtains in fine Italian silk shantung frame the appealing setting. The beauty of the rooms is enhanced by the bronze lamps hand-crafted by Bronzetto, the scagliola occasional tables by Bianco Bianchi, the antique-finish mirrors and the brass decorations on the furniture. The Presidential Suite is equipped with three bathrooms, tiled in white Carrara marble. Especially impressive is the master bathroom, featuring twin washbasins, a central Devon&Devon bathtub opposite the fireplace, a Turkish bath and a shower.
