2 Murchison Falls National Park – The Nile’s Jewel

Depart Entebbe and fly to Murchison Falls National Park, one of the most scenic spots along the Nile and the location of the classic Humphrey Bogart film, The African Queen. After settling into your lodge on the banks of the Victoria Nile, set out on a fascinating evening game drive before returning to your lodge for a welcome dinner.

3 Murchison Falls National Park – Nile Safari

Set out on a game drive along the northern bank of the Nile, in Murchison Falls National Park. You may see giraffes, buffalo, elephants, warthogs, leopards, lions and antelope. Later, embark by boat to the base of the falls, where invigorating spray showers the narrow ravine, with camera at the ready for hippos, crocodiles and other species.

Ascend to the top of Murchison Falls with your guide to take in the lush panoramas. This afternoon, fly to Kibale National Park and settle into your lodge.

5 Kibale National Park – Forest of Chimpanzees

Kibale Forest is home to 11 species of primates, including chimpanzee and mangabey, and 300 types of birds. Rise early for the start of your chimpanzee trek, listening to the forest’s silence as you go. After the trek, stop for a picnic lunch and then head out on a walk through the Bigodi wetlands, where you visit members of the local community. Return to your lodge for the rest of the afternoon at leisure. You may opt to go canoeing before dinner.

6 Queen Elizabeth National Park – Nature Anew

Set out for a morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park. Make your way out of the Rift Valley and on to the mountains of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch at your lodge, visit Uganda Nursing School Bwindi and Hospital, a project supported by A&K Philanthropy. Learn how the school invests in promising local students who will become the region’s future healthcare workers.

9 Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Gorilla Encounters in the Wild

Dreamily misty and lushly foliated with some 200 species of trees, the high-altitude mountain terrain of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park provides ideal cover for one of the rarest animals on earth. Devote your day to tracking endangered mountain gorillas, spending up to an hour among them. See mothers keeping infants close as they knucklewalk on three limbs. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a national park located in southwestern Uganda, at the junction of the plain and mountain forests. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a biodiversity hotspot that is believed to hold the greatest number of tree species for its altitude in East Africa as well as almost half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. It is also home to many types of butterflies and birds, as well as endangered species.
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Explore the dramatic backdrop of Queen Elizabeth National Park's famous volcanic cones and deep craters, tropical forests and grassy plains. The park is known for one of the highest biodiversity ratings in the world, and visitors can spot tree-climbing lions, elephants, buffalo and antelopes on safari game drives.
Kibale National Park
The star attractions of Uganda's Kibale National Park are the 13 species of primates, including some 1,500 chimpanzees, the most recorded in any African forest. Kibale contains varied tropical forest with patches of grassland and swamp, containing over 375 species of birds and 351 tree species. Kibale National Park adjoins Queen Elizabeth National Park and is one of the most wildlife-filled and rewarding destinations to visit.
Murchison Falls National Park
A Ugandan national park, it is the largest wildlife reserve in Uganda protecting 4 of the 'Big 5 ' animals most dangerous to hunt. The Murchison Falls Conservation Area comprises of the Murchison Falls National Park, Bungugu, and Karuma Falls Wildlife Reserve abundant by the surrounding savannah, vegetation, riverine forest, and the woodlands. It is home to approximately 450 species of birds and 76 species of mammals. The Victoria Nile splits into 2 rivers. These rapids stretch into the valley floor and visitors can be greeted by hippos, Nile crocodiles and aquatic birds on the way to Lake Albert.

Entebbe is a large town located in central Uganda near Lake Victoria. Uganda's largest airport, Entebbe International Airport, is located in Entebbe, as well as the official residence of the President of Uganda.
