Then, take a scenic drive south via Chapman’s Peak Drive, which skirts the rocky coastline and is one of the most scenic drives in the world. Continue to Cape Point Nature Reserve for stops at the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, the southwestern most point on the African continent. Here, ride a funicular to the steps of the old lighthouse for spectacular panoramic views. Return to Cape Town and enjoy the evening at your leisure. (B)

Day 3 CAPE TOWN Enjoy a full day at leisure for free-time pursuits. Perhaps explore the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront or go deeper with a whale-watching cruise in nearby Hermanus (June-December). Your Tour Director has suggestions to help you make the most of your day. May we recommend a glass-half-full kind of day in the stunning Cape Winelands for tastings and breathtaking scenery and cellars? Wine not! (B)

Day 4 CAPE TOWN–STONY POINT NATURE RESERVE–HERMANUS–MOSSEL BAY This morning, depart Cape Town and drive to Stony Point Nature Reserve to see a colony of endangered African Penguins. Known for the unique sound they make, these penguins grow to an average height of two feet and live in burrows and rock crevices along the beach. Stop in Hermanus for independent exploration. Enjoy lunch at a quaint café, visit the shops, or walk the coastal path in search of marine life, including whales that frequent the area. Continue along the Garden Route to Mossel Bay for the evening. Dinner tonight is at ‘Mossel Bay’s seafood House’, located at your harbor front hotel. (B,D)

Day 5 MOSSEL BAY–OUDTSHOORN–KNYSNA Continue north along the Garden Route to Oudtshoorn and stop for a guided tour of the Cango Caves with its stunning limestone rock formations. The caves, recognized as a cultural and natural landmark, are 20 million years old and have been inhabited since the early Stone Age. You will also visit a local ostrich farm for an interactive tour to learn about the world’s largest bird. See the South African Black, Kenyan Red, and Zimbabwean Blue ostriches and hear about their unique personalities. Tonight, stay in the beautiful countryside where you will enjoy dinner offering a menu of fresh cultural and international dishes. (B,D)

Day 11 ESWATINI–GREATER KRUGER NATIONAL PARK AREA Depart eSwatini, visiting a unique glass factory where skilled glass blowers use recycled glass to create stemware, animal figures, and more. Then, head north for the Greater Kruger area visiting a traditional Swazi village en-route. Wander through the village with its many huts, each allocated for special social functions. Interact with the villagers as they go about their daily activities, experience folk songs and dance performances – maybe even join in the festivities. Continue towards Kruger National Park where South African hospitality reigns with leisure time at the lodge. Gaze from your balcony at the wildlife-rich gardens, relax at one of the pools or day spa, and select from delightful dining choices. Your visit here contributes to Endangered Wildlife Trust’s Conservation Canine Project, aimed at training dogs to patrol, detect and track poachers and to the Lion Recovery Fund who works towards the rehabilitation of Lions and their habitats. Swaziland (eSwatini)
Swaziland - independent since 1968 - is one of the only three monarchies left in Africa. And proud of it! Led by His Majesty King Mswati III the nation rejoices in its traditions and is staunchly committed to safeguarding its rich culture, social and natural heritage for future generations.Few countries today can boast the safety, stability and peace which Swaziland enjoys, both internationally and with her neighbours. Visitors to the Kingdom cannot but feel and appreciate the warmth and friendliness of their hosts, a characteristic engendered by this stability, nor fail to appreciate the safety it promises to travellers. Access to Swaziland, may be made through any of twelve border posts or the centrally located Matsapha airport with all four corners of the country accessible by tarred road. The capital Mbabane, and the industrial hub of Manzini, are sophisticated business centers offering an upbeat alternative to the tranquility and sense of timeless found in more outlying areas. No matter where your travels take you within the kingdom, you will meet the courtesy, friendliness and genuine desire to help and share that make it easy to see why Swaziland claims to offer the visitor …. "The Royal Experience." Swaziland was renamed The Kingdom of eSwatini in 2018.
Kruger National Park
This enormous and magnificent park is one of the most popular public game parks in the world. Its density of permanent game is unrivalled with hundreds of different species; 507 birds, 336 trees, 147 mammals, 114 reptiles, 49 fish and 34 amphibians! Sighting the "Big Five" has become a quest for many people on safari, and Kruger National Park has more than its fare share of these, with an estimated 1,800 lion, 9,125 elephant, 25,000 buffalo, unknown number of leopards and 2,300 black and white rhino. These animals became the 'Big Five' because they are the five most dangerous animals to hunt - when injured they attack! There are plenty of other fascinating animals and birds in the African bush.
Mkuze Game Reserve
Umhlanga
This coastal suburb of Durban is around 30 minutes north of the city center, and its Zulu name means "Place of Reeds," in reference to years gone by when reeds were washed down to the beach by the Ohlanga River. In the 19th century, local farmers leased small plots on the beach to build holiday cottages—the first of which was built in 1869 and called the Oyster Box (today the site of the five-star Oyster Box Hotel). Umhlanga remains a popular, upmarket seaside resort and has beautiful, protected swimming beaches. It also has numerous restaurants and pavement cafes, and the mega Gateway Shopping Theatre. The Umhlanga Lagoon lies just to the north of town at the end of the promenade, where the Umhlanga Lagoon Nature Reserve (open 6 am-6 pm; free) has 2.5 mi/4 km of walking trails through coastal forest and dunes. Also on the promenade, you won't miss the large red-and-white Umhlanga Lighthouse, which was completed in 1954 and is still in use today. Information can be found at Umhlanga Tourism. Open Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm, Saturday 9 am-noon. Chartwell Centre, Umhlanga Drive, Umhlanga. Phone 031-561-4257. http://www.umhlanga-rocks.com.
Mossel Bay
Beautiful Mossel Bay is a coastal village and harbor of the World Famous Garden Route. This popular holiday town is blessed with mild climate year round and its status as historical capital of the Garden Route. Today, mussels, which give the harbor its name, are gathered in Mossel Bay each spring and are rated among the finest in the world. Due to its rich history, there are many museums housed in historical buildings to visit for maritime and sailing, fresh specimens of wild flowers, shells, and history. There are others, such as the Shirley Buildings, the Munrohoek Cottages and many others which may be visited. One of the most popular attractions is the Post Office, a National Monument estimated to be more than 800 years old. Mossel Bay is sportsman's and waters sport enthusiast's paradise. Water sports available include shark cage diving, ship wreck diving, snorkeling, power boating and others.
Knysna
Knysna nestles on the banks of a beautiful lagoon in the heart of the ‘Garden Route’ of South Africa. It is surrounded by a natural paradise of lush indigenous forests, tranquil lakes and golden beaches, making it a natural wonderland. A moderate climate and a fine selection of accommodation, restaurants and enjoyable activities make Knysna the perfect holiday destination.

Victoria Falls
The town of Victoria Falls is a pleasant place, created for visitors. There are hiking routes and rental bicycles. There are also trinket shops, selling everything from cheap T-shirts to antique African musical instruments. Carvings of masks and animals are a tradition around the area (as is the bargaining required to purchase them for a reasonable price). The Victoria Falls Hotel, a short walk from the falls, still operates in full colonial splendor and should be seen even by those not staying there. Visit Crocodile Ranch and Craft Village - a fascinating glimpse into Zimbabwean culture. Visit Livingstone, just across the border in Zambia— more than just a tourist town and more character than Victoria Falls. Another appealing side trip is to Chobe National Park, in neighboring Botswana. Chobe is one of the finest game parks in the world.
Cape Town
Cape Town is southern Africa's most beautiful, most romantic and most-visited city. Few urban centers anywhere can match its setting along the Cape Peninsula spine, which slides like the mighty tail of the continent into the Atlantic Ocean. By far the most striking - and famous - of its sights is Table Mountain, frequently mantled by clouds, and rearing up from the middle of the city to provide a constantly changing vista to the suburbs below. Table Mountain is the city's solid core which divides the city into distinct zones with public gardens, wilderness, forests, hiking routes, vineyards and desirable residential areas trailing down it's lower slopes.
