Day 2: La Paz Sightseeing + Huatajata and Lake Titicaca

After breakfast, your private sightseeing tour showcases the Colonial and modern districts of La Paz and also includes the bustling Indian Market, unique Witch Doctor's Market and breathtaking vistas of the city and its mountain backdrop. Travel to Huatajata where you'll immerge yourself in the culture of Bolivia's Lake Titicaca. You'll visit the Antiplano Museum where a fascinating exhibit sheds light on the ancient cultural traditions of the region's indigenous Aymara people. Then meet a member of the Kallawaya, an itinerant group of traditional healers who have long lived here in the high Andes Mountains of Bolivia. You'll gain extraordinary insight into some of the ancient healing methods which they have used for nearly 1,000 years! Tonight you'll have a chance to observe the constellations of the Southern Sky as your guide shares fascinating Aymara beliefs about the Heavens. Spend a restful overnight at the inviting Inca Utama Hotel & Spa here in Huatajata, a scenic highland town on the southeastern shores of Lake Titicaca. Meals B+D

Day 3: Sun and Moon Islands

Check out from your hotel after breakfast and travel to Cocotoni to begin your hydrofoil voyage escorted by a private guide across the tranquil and sacred waters of Lake Titicaca. Visit Sun Island to see its ancient temple sites. Climb the Grand Inca Staircase and sip the waters of the Sacred Fountain, which the ancient Inca believed would offer eternal youth and happiness! Enjoy lunch at the Uma Kollu Archaeological restaurant, then cruise to Moon Island to see the Sun Virgins' Temple of Inak Uyu. Board the hydrofoil and disembark in Copacabana which you explore before heading back to La Paz. Meals B+L.

Tour the Salt Museum in Colchani and see the ancient methods which are still used today to extract the salt. Uyuni
In an isolated corner of southwestern Bolivia sits the desert-like landscape of Uyuni. It was founded in 1889 by Bolivian president Anicento Arce who operates a military base outside of the town. Uyuni's economy has blossomed from the many visits to the world's largest salt flats.

The city is also home to a plethora of museums including Museo Nacional de Arqueología (National Museum of Archeology), Museo del Oro (Gold Museum) as well as the Pedro Domingo Murillo house museum.
