We had a loft room-10/10 recommend this room. Because this room is on first floor-you do not get room service-which we didn’t know about, and this would have been nice to know. Staff and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Tauck’s Wonderful Danube Experience

Visit to private homes in small groups to meet owners and enjoy their hospitality was very enjoyable! Dinners inside private palaces with outstanding food and entertainment. Hotel in Prague was 5-Star and one year old!

Cruising First Class

Pros: Beautiful newer ship with very thoughtful cabin design. There was great direct and indirect lighting. It was a bonus to have two 110 outlets in the cabin. Great food. Truly all inclusive-you don't tip the four tour directors either.

Cons: There are getting to be SO many boats on the river! It is not unusual for three boats to be right next to each other (But it's good to be the people on the nicest boat on the river!) Only con for the ship was just one sink in the bathroom.

This was our third trip with Tauck and our first river cruise. It was clear they had contingency plans and they were well prepared for any "surprises". The Tauck guides and local guides were very knowledgeable and interesting. The food on the ship had great variety (and various places to dine). The food was excellent. It was clear to us every activity was optional-relax or explore-whatever you want. The crew on the ship was very competent, happy and very helpful. We would highly recommend ms Savor!

The MS Savor was a fabulous ship with a wonderful crew. The crew would do anything to satisfy, and do so sincerely. It was easily the best cruise experience we've ever had, and like everything Tauck does went smoothly and perfectly, top-drawer in all ways. Cabins were well-designed, attractive, efficient, and comfortable. If I were to give a numerical "score" for the ship (out of 100) it would be 98. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Small complaints: My wife and I don't drink very much, so I would have been happy to have paid a lower fare and not subsidized those who drank constantly. The internet connectivity on the ship was often non-existent. In this day and age it is difficult to be away from one's work or family for 10-14 days and be almost completely unable to stay in touch. For example, our daughter just got engaged and we had important decisions to make on a deadline about wedding arrangements and it was maddening trying to get even a simple text through.

This was our first, but not likely our last, Tauck experience, and the shipboard aspect was delightful. Our accommodations were more than adequate and kept clean and comfortable. The lounge and restaurant were equally pleasant and well-staffed. Entrance and exit procedures were efficient and carefully managed.
